Anyone can join a walking Hanami tour (Thursday – Sunday) throughout May. Larger groups (over 10 people) can also book the tractor trailer for no extra cost. PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL FOR ALL HANAMI TOURS

Walking guided tours of the blossom are available at 11:30 from Thursday - Sunday until 19th May. Please feel free to call ahead before visiting if in doubt about the weather or the best time to visit.

Your 1 hour guided tour will start in our Japanese exhibition before setting off around the beautiful orchards; giving you the chance to find out about the history of Brogdale and Hanami. Once the tour has finished you can to enjoy the exclusive picnic area set among the blossom and the snacks in your complimentary Japanese 'taster' bag!

- Your Hanami tour ticket includes access to the exclusive picnic area set amongst the blossom so you can bring a picnic with you or buy something tasty from the courtyard cafe when you arrive and enjoy it under the trees. You will be given a blue tarpaulin (as in Japan) to sit on but feel free to bring any picnic essentials that you require!
- Hanami falls a little earlier in the year than sunbathing weather, suitable clothing and a snug jumper is probably a good idea and remember that wellies are always welcome at Brogdale!
